Photographer Philip Toledano’s book Days With My Father managed to capture both sadness and serenity in a loving tribute to his aging father’s last years. I loved how he described the project in this interview:
The thing with Days of My Father I realized, and I only realized this in retrospective, is it’s a book about love. And it’s a book about, I guess if you were to look at it objectively, it’s a book about the idea that saying goodbye can be a really extraordinary beautiful thing.

check out these lovely neon bows by YESTADT! they are so cute and although I’d probably not wear them, I think they’re super cute for a little girl. But one thing I’d never do is pay $75 for four of them. Look closely… does it look that complicated to you?
Things you’ll need:
Sheets of neon plastic - craft store (possibly fabric store)
Zig-zag scissors - craft store
Sewing machine - I take advantage of my crafty friends with their own
Alligator hair clips (with teeth)
What to do:
Use zig zag scissors to cut rectangle out of neon plastic (I’d suggest 2.5inches by 5.5inches)
Sew a border around each rectangle
Use same thread to gather plastic in the center and knot it
Using the thread tails from the knot, tie to alligator clip
Ta-Da. You just spent max $20.
